Aim of the laboratory work

1. Study of physical processes in common emitter transistor switch circuit;

2. Transistor switch with accelerating capacitor;

3. Study of physical processes in unsaturated transistor switch.

Task and unfit execution procedure

1. Study the effect of the size of the resistor R on transitional process duration in saturated common emitter transistor switch (Fig. 1). Set R≈5 kΩ and R≈15 kΩ. Transistor switch input (UI) signal is periodic negative rectangular pulses nth pulse duration t0.1 = 10 us frequency f=10 kHz and amplitude Uas ≈ 15 V.

a) Draw signal oscillograms at the input (U1) and output (U2) of the switch. Determine switch output positive rectangular pulse duration (t, 2,), rise (t), fall (4) and excess charge carrier depletion time (t) as well as pulse amplitude U.
