PRACTICAL ASSIGNMENT

In Khetri Copper complex 2570 HP friction hoist of thyristor drive of JEUMONT schneider was installed in 1975. In 2011 the spares of this drive were no longer available from JJEUMONT Schneider France.

As drive developed some fault so production came to standstill.

Assignment/exercise was to commission an ABB drive which ABB system house engineer could not do for 15 months.
