1) You have been called in to act as a labor consultant to a private sector hospital in upcoming collective bargaining negotiations with its union. There is a collective bargaining agreement that is about to expire. Describe the preparation and analysis you would use in advising the union?

Using the current environment please be specific and include the following:

- How might you determine issues of importance to your client?

- How might you determine issues of importance for the union?  

- Discuss possible areas of problems and leverage (for both sides) that could appear in such a negotiation?

2) Please describe the importance of relationships in negotiation. Please be specific. Please note how reputation, trust, and justice all play a part in this discussion.
