A collar (A) that slides along a smooth horizontal bar. The mass of the collar is 14 kg, and the mass of block (B) is 18 kg. The spring constant for the spring connecting the collar to the frame is 700 N/m.

The system is released from rest with the spring unscratched. Use conservation of energy to determine the velocity of the collar A when it has moved 0.2 m to the right. Friction forces between the collar and the bar may be ignored in the analysis.
