What experiences have you had while collaborating with your colleagues (coworkers, teammates, classmates, etc.)? Was there effective communication, a focus on goal accomplishment, or compromise?

Teachers must work collaboratively with a variety of people, such as other members of the staff and faculty, district personnel, community members, parents, families, and students. Therefore, teachers need to be able to work effectively with these kinds of people, regardless of their differing perspectives, motives, and values. Collaboration skills such as effective communication, a focus on goal accomplishment, and consensus building/compromise will be critical to successful collaboration.
