What is Diversity?

Module Overview

What really is diversity? How is it related to inclusivity? How does equity differ from equality? What does it mean to create a climate of belonging? The purpose of this module is to provide a basic understanding the term "diversity. Diversity is the first brick in the foundation that is necessary to build an environment where everyone in our community can thrive.

Learning Outcomes At the conclusion of this module, you will be able to:

• Define diversity.
• Explain the importance and benefits of diversity.
• Choose an action that creates or sustains diversity.
