Your reflection should be about your coding learning journey thus far; it should be supplemented with references. There is a link on Blackboard in the Assessment folder to help you think about what a reflection is as well as the purpose of a reflection. Reflection helps us consolidate existing learning and focuses us to think about areas of development and what our goals and plans are going forward.

Check your file for size. If it is more than a few MB, then check images to ensure that they are not set at too high resolution, or included as bitmaps.

Once you have clicked on the assignment title link you will see the assignment submission screen. Scroll down until you see 'Browse for local file'. Click on this and then identify your assignment from the appropriate source. Please be careful to ensure it is the correct file as any error cannot easily be rectified.

Double clicking on the identified file takes you to the next screen where you are asked to give a name to you assignment. There is no need to write anything in the 'Additional Materials' or 'Comments' boxes.

Then, click on 'submit'.

Save your Jupter notebook or Jupyter lab as an html file and upload that to Blackboard. You can of course decide to save the outputs from your Jupyter notebook and insert them into a MS Word document or any other medium you choose for you to convey your data analysis and associated data story. Please remember to include the code in the appendix - this is very important. If this is not appropriate for you then please create a GitHub page and upload your work there and create a notebook viewer. You can then upload the link in Blackboard. Please check that everything is present and works before you log off your Blackboard account.

Your ICA should be about a crime type or similar topic of your choosing. You should find a suitable dataset(s) and analyse this open data to create a Technical Report. This technical report should be well structured and have a narrative that supports the tables, charts or maps that make up your visualisations. Example templates of work are on Blackboard to support your learning. You are only able to use python code and should not use MS Excel or similar packages to create your visualisations/insight. You are encouraged to you pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, bokeh etc to slice and dice the data and visualise patterns/meanings.

No automatic receipt is emailed. You can check whether your assignment has been sent and received by clicking on My Provisional Grades from the main menu. Open the file to check that it is the right one, and contact your module leader before the deadline if it is not.
