The episodes last for about 30 seconds, during which teh child becomes pale and then turns blue. There is no associated seizure activity, and the child quickly recovers without any intervention. OBJECTIVE: On exam, the toddler appears well-nourished and developmentally appropriate for age. Viral signs are stable. Cardiovascular and respiratory examinations are within normal limits. Neurological examination reveals no abnormalities. Based on provided history and exam findings, outline your approach to the management and counseling of this toddler with breath-holding spells.
