You and your colleague(s) are top-notch compensation professionals at a leading consulting firm. Your company has a major client, Zenith Medical Systems. Your boss has asked you to analyze your client's organization. In your preparation for writing your client's report you must read over the Zenith Medical Systems Inc. profile that your boss has given you. Zenith has asked your company to develop a comprehensive Compensation Pay Strategy and Structure for their company. To begin part 1, you must analyze the organization's contextual & structural elements and managerial strategy, and then determine the best fit and pay compensation mixes for a few key roles within each department. For part 2, you must set up a pay structure, which will include establishing pay grades with operational definitions, sorting jobs, benchmarking key jobs, and then setting pay ranges. Task 2: Next, in the client report, make RECOMMENDATIONS on what would be the most appropriate managerial style and compensation pay strategy (lag, meet, lead) for Zenith Medical Systems and what you would do to implement it.
