Robert Garrow's attorneys were faced with an ethical issue of upholding their ethical duty as attorneys to keep and preserve information Robert had provided them in confidence or to disclose the information that would give the victims' families of the girls he killed to know what happened and where they were to allow for proper burial services and emotional closure.
