An educational psychologist was interested in whether children who grow up in bilingual settings have an advantage of distraction resistance compared with children in general. The distraction resistance test was administered to a randomly chosen child with bilingual upbringing background who was found to have a score of 69. The population average is 60 with a standard deviation of 3. Do children with bilingual upbringing background score 3 higher on distraction resistance test than children in general? Use the 1% level of significance.
