The course builds on Knowledge Classification I and covers practical aspects of classification of information materials.

Course Objectives:

To enable learners perfect their knowledge and skills in classification of library and information materials.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course, learners should be able to:

1. Classify different kinds of information materials using at least two classification schemes.

2. Evaluate the classification schemes in relation to different environments
