Socket is an interface between your application and the network. Your assignment is to create an application that runs on top of the socket you create. You must implement both server side and client side sockets and make sure they communicate appropriately. Your program will be judged by the successfully built sockets and the complexity of the application you create. There is tons of information about socket programming in the Internet. You are free to use any programming language, preferably C, C++, Python, and Java. You can choose to run your program on Linux or Window operating system. A tutorial (PowerPoint) that illustrates the implementation detail on Linux in C language is posted in Canvas. A PowerPoint presentation of your work in the class and final delivery of your code and presentation to Canvas is expected. Details on the date of presentation and deliverable will be given later.
