There are a number of simple "solutions" that are claimed to reduce your footprint that don't really work. Find one such "solution" and describe it. Indicate why it might make sense that it might reduce your footprint and then explain why it has little or no impact on your real footprint. Hint: you might want to look at your actual footprint calculations and see what aspects of it that this solution might be trying to address. NOTE: this is asking about an idea that has been proposed that would not be able to help. This is not asking for solutions that are impractical or difficult, instead it's asking for things that just would not help reduce your footprint.
