Local anesthesia was given to the antecubital site and the axillary site. Incision was made and the fascia was divided. Axillobrachial vein was identified, dissected, and controlled. Incision was made in the antecubital site, through the subcutaneous tissue and brought down to the fascia. This was divided. The brachial artery was identified and dissected and controlled. The 6-mm Gore-Tex graft was anastomosed to the vein end-to-side. Then the graft was tunneled subcutaneously and brought to the antecubital site and anastomosis with brachial artery was performed with 5-0 Prolene.
