Malaysia, a 22-year-old woman, was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. After weeks of showing symptoms of chronic coughing as well as shortness of breath, inflammation in the throat, body rashes, fatigue, and physical pain in the eyes causing blurred vision, she quickly scheduled an appointment with her physician because she started to notice how poor her appetite had gotten and the immense body weight she had lost. After sharing her signs and symptoms with her physician, Malaysia's physician ordered a chest X-ray to observe her chest, heart, and lungs. During the chest x-ray, Malaysia's physician documented a rash of red bumps located on Malaysia's right ankle and ordered follow-up biopsy tests to be sent to a pathologist for laboratory results. After the lab sent Malaysia's physician a positive biopsy test, which discovered granuloma cells being present. Malaysia's physician is led to believe her condition is not infectious but, perhaps genetic. What is this condition that Malaysia has?
