A recessive sex-linked gene {h} located on the X chromosome increases blood clotting time. This causes hemophilia. A carrier woman marries a normal man. They have 3 children. A normal girl, a hemophiliac son and one carrier. The boy marries a woman without hemophilia and they have a hemophiliac daughter.
