My perception would be middle class, I earn a modest living, and feel that society has made, and changed class differently. So if I have to pick one, that would be it.

I am a high school graduate, with 3 semesters of a secondary technical college majoring in business, and economics, and recently did 2 semesters of online college focusing on psychology.
5. What is your (role/position) within your (home/firm/organization), and what are some of your general responsibilities?
I am currently in charge of my husband's business with a title of Office Manager/ Co-owner. I manage daily operations; attend to customers, answer phones, most general office duties.
I do the monthly and quarterly taxes and payroll. I do all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
6. Why have you choose your particular career?
I have a strong background with business and have always felt that is the type of position I have been comfortable with. When my husband purchased the business I became more involved with the company and decided to take on the role.
7. Have you have experienced any social mobility? And if so please explain how.
When I moved to Montana, I was more at a lower class level of income and job title. Once my husband obtained the business we became set more into another level by owing and running our own business. It brought more responsibility, and more status within our community.
8. What is the structure of your position? Is it an important part of your position at your job or career?
It is to make sure the company is running smoothly, I keep the customers and paperwork in order, make sure all accounts are correctly being billed, do all aspects of federal and state payments, do all accounts payable, receivable, and do all the deposits. My position is important when it comes to how well the business will do from the profit and loss standpoint. And I keep the flow of progress going, there are always changes throughout each year.
9. Do you plan on moving to another career or staying where you are at in the current position or pursue higher status?
I plan to continue, and grow as the company does. Being a husband and wife owned business you are only as good as you give when it comes to owning your own company.
We have accomplished many great changes since he began running the business, and we hope to continue to grow and prosper with each New Year.
There are always new ways to make things better with any business; it's all a part of how dedicated you are to your job and what you put into it.
