1. In Chapter 16 we learned about a strategy to keep your children safe from sexual predators is to educate them early. The author here suggested the "no touch zone" to teach children. "Don't let anyone touch your chest, tummy, hips, buttocks, between the legs, or thighs. If anyone does, then scream 'stop!' And tell your mom or dad, teacher, or other trusted adult" (Hammond, 2021). We also learned about domestic violence. There are shelters women can go, even if they have children, to have a safe place to stay. These places are easily accessible in my community. There are many places that can be accessed. If the police are called, they have the phone numbers and brochures to help you get the help you need. They will have special DV units that are trained to help women in need. A strategy for moms to follow is don't leave your children alone. Of course, you can't be with them every hour, but use your common sense. Don't go to a party where there are going to be people that have been drinking and leave your kids unattended. There are also special units for elder abuse cases. If anyone suspects elder abuse, call the police for additional resources.

2. One important strategy that you can implement to keep your family safe and society. It's always make sure that they are prepared for anything. Society is full of different obstacles, and is imperative that you make sure the individuals in your family are aware of these. Individuals that are of age are a little easier to prepare for these situations. Children on the other hand he gets a bit difficult, but as adults you have to put them in the best situation. One big resource that is available to assist family will see if he needs is constant communication with your local police department. They are more than willing to share any information that you are requesting. Another resource that can be use as social media because everyone shares information there. These resources are accessible to everyone. No one should feel like they don't have the necessary information required to keep their family safe.
