Scenerio,

John was a new health care professional in the office. During his orientation, he presented a know-it-all attitude with his coworkers who were attempting to help him become comfortable in his new position. He was very aggressive (not assertive) and in a loud and sarcastic voice pointed out all the things wrong in the office. In addition, he went on about where he had worked before and how they had done everything right. Although his coworkers pressed him for specific examples for improvement, he really did not have any. He was appropriately told about his attitude and the potential for problems if it continued. Within 3 months, he left the job because "he could not get along with coworkers or patients." In addition, he made several errors with his patients.
