According to Tuten and Solomon (2014), no social media marketing campaign will conclude unless objectives are set, and effectiveness has been assessed. The challenge is to identify the right measures to use. It's harder than it sounds - in fact, marketers continue to wrestle with these decisions as they seek concrete ways to illustrate the value of these techniques to others in their organisations who hold the purse strings.

With the aforementioned in mind, list the five key characteristics required to set clear social media marketing objectives that can be adequately measured.
