Case Study Analysis
Description: Students will research a nominated assessment organisation and critically discuss how various characteristics can impact the organisation's performance.

Assessment Case - Business Profile Summary
Only basic information is presented in this document. You are expected to conduct significant further research on the organisation for your assessments.
The same company is the relevant case study for both the courses.
Note: Given the scope of the company, a student may elect if they wish to conduct the research and create the report either on the whole of the organisation or only the Indian division. However, a learner must clearly state in the title of their report what they have elected.
Project
You will identify concepts or characteristics of a high-performance organisation and explore how the nominated assessment organisation might maximise the application of those characteristics. Such characteristics include:
• Workforce composition and structure,
• Talent management,
• Governance,
• Risk management structures
• CSR,
• Organisational performance management,
• Responsiveness and organisational structure, etc.
You will draw from the first-course content, related literature, and contemporary articles from reputable sources.
This assessment will
• Utilise selected characteristics and the preparation of an individual report including evidence of applications of these characteristics in the nominated assessment organisation and
• Provide recommendations for implementation within a high-performing organisation.
Exercises throughout course one will be used as preparation for the final assessment paper. In effect, the exercises will form components of your final paper.
Assessment title:
An analysis of an organisation's preparedness for agility and sustainable competitive advantage.
Details:
Related to the nominated assessment organisation, you must address the following considerations:
1. Analysis of the main components that the organisation addresses or could address to maximise its capacity for high agility
2. Analysis of the governance structure and risk management policies of the organisation
3. Review the organisational structure and offer alternative considerations for the organisation
Address the three core questions above for the nominated assessment organisation.
Supportive considerations:
• The agility of the organisation to adjust to future workforce requirements and the expansion of AI
• The effectiveness of the underpinning structure of the organisation as it operates today.
• What might the workforce and structural requirements be for 2025?
• The Governance structures and practices of the organisation including is capacity to manage risk, and any areas for enhancement
• The extent the organisation engages in ESG/CSR and where the modification could be made for enhancement
