Chantel manages a local shoe store in Toronto. She is working long hours (50 to 60 hours) because she does everything in the store - hiring, firing, preparing shift schedules, serving customers, etc. She is paid an annual salary. At the time she was hired, Chantel understood that there would be no additional compensation for overtime but now she does not think this is fair. Chantel wants to know if her employer has to give her overtime pay.
