There is 2-possible ways of inserting a gene into E.Coli that functions in changing a waste into an energy source.
5` to 3` direction and 3` to 5` direction. Which of these two would allow the E. Coli to carry out the function of changning waste products to energy source. Chaning waste into an energy source is just a hypothetical function.
