Call options on a stock currently trading at $35 a share are available with strike prices of $30, $35, and $40 and expiration dates in three months. Their prices are $8, $4, and $1, respectively. Make a long butterfly spread and construct a table showing how profit (loss) and payoff vary with change in stock price for this strategy. Possible stock prices at expiration are 30, 35, 40, 45 and 70.
