Sales dynamics may change according to the how the sales team is trained. The tools and mechanisms will remain the same, for instance how the sales team present themselves to the customers has never change, but if you have same trainer who gave you the skills during the past 50 years and also the current period, you will find that nothing has changed on how they present themselves to the customers. Sales people are a vital part of the chain in any organization, as they are the ones who are responsible for closing deals. For any company, it is a simple enough equation - to be successful you need to win business and make money. However, selling does not always come easily for everyone and even if you’re a natural, there will be skills that can be improved upon, or new ones that can be added. In the past, sales teams were ruthless and never took no for an answer. Reps would work away at someone until they gave in and anything was fair game (or at least that’s the image of sales that people often have). The best sales people will always be looking at ways to enhance their skills and achieve greater things. (2018) Also, technology will advance with all the high-tech invention, but very little will change with how we sell and what techniques we use. The art of is sale will be almost the same regardless to time and geography. The communications skills will never change, nothing new has emerged when it comes to the approaching a customer and the language used to close a deal. Although technology is advancing, we have same mechanisms of communicating since the tech will not approach a customer but it’s your level of personality, character, and self-determination.
