Question

A 57-year-old female is transported to Sinclair Memorial Hospital with a ruptured complex cerebral aneurysm of the left internal carotid artery siphon and subarachnoid hemorrhage, with bilateral internal carotid stenosis. Upon admission, the patient received an angiogram with the intention of aneurysm coiling. The aneurysm was not suitable to be coiled due to its anatomical characteristics; it was multilobulated with a wide base. The aneurysm was completely eliminated through surgical clipping. The patient also underwent an open bilateral endarterectomy with intraoperative transcranial Doppler. The patient was discharged to home after a week. Length of stay was 7 days. pcs codes.
