It is impossible to determine whether objectives have been met unless they can be measured. When reviewing Hart City and data analysis matric it is evident that everyone is concerned about their community and what impact the shelter will make. My SMART objective would be to gather data from the police reports and security to determine the increase or decrease in DV reports, as well as reports of other criminal activity within the community due to the shelter. The data gathered can be from police reports as well as a monthly held meeting to discuss the reports pertaining to the shelter. I will utilize my time wisely by implementing time to gain data of all reports made in connection to the DV Shelter. Within the next three months I will reach this goal of increasing police / law enforcement involvement used to actively monitor the residential DV shelter. I will schedule a time to meet with the focus group monthly to discuss data collected and what future goals and objectives are needed to continue to gather.
