Postpartum depression, as it is known today, causes a new mother to feel so many emotions. The hormones in a woman's body during and immediately after, are surging all the time. After childbirth the hormones immediately begin to lesson. Pregnant one minute and not the next. Crying, sleepy yet sleep deprived, frustration, feeling inadequate. These are normal for a short time. If they continue medication can help.
