Case Study 1: Taking Credit
You are working as an intern and your supervisor has asked you to help a fellow intern with a big project. You spend countless hours doing research and analyzing data. When you and the other intern present the project to management and your supervisor, the other intern takes over the presentation and ownership for a majority of the work. The intern gives you little to no credit for your work which was over half of the project. During the meeting, you don't disagree with the intern because you don't want to make a scene in front of management. You wait until after the meeting to do anything about the situation.
