Case Study on business managerial field

External environment : include how the refinery fits at the corporate level,who his stakeholders are and how MacGregor manages this external environment.

Internal environment: include a description of the culture, both in the refinery and at the corporate level. Also, identify MacGregor's tangible and intangible assets.

Human capital: describe how he attracts, develops and retains employees, then how he manages them.

Establishing strategic direction: describe how MacGregor develops and manages his long term strategy, i.e. Five years and longer

Establishing tactical direction: identify and describe how he establishes his one year operating plan and budget.

Plan implementation: describe the control process for his operating plan along with the rewards and incentives used.

Assessment of MacGergor as a leader: include a list of his strengths and developmental needs
