You may choose to analyze Google or another company of your choice. Perform a google search to identify the diversity report and diversity-related strategies of Google or another company (for example: perform a google search for Google's most recent annual diversity report). Once you have found the diversity report for Google or a company of your choice, respond to the following prompts/questions:

  1. Based on your understanding of what diversity in the workplace looks like or should look like, identify and describe the areas where the company is struggling/facing challenges? 
  2. Describe the strategies or policies that the company has identified/implemented to address the issues noted in part 1.
  3. Elaborate on whether or not the diversity-related strategies and policies identified by the company are appropriate to address the diversity challenges that the company is facing. 
  4. Are there any laws that require the company to address the diversity issues identified in part 1? If so, describe those laws. If not, do you believe there should be laws and why?
  5. Identify two to three strategies that you, as a diversity champion, can employ to begin to resolve the diversity challenges being faced by the company. Use research-based strategies to support your approach (in other words, through your own research be sure to identify scholarly strategies that have been proven successful).
