This week we will be covering the case of Coca Cola and its water use in India. Coca Cola has a long and controversial history in India, as it has frequently been accused of both depleting ground water and polluting the local environment in the surrounds of its bottling plants, We will be discussing the case study in classes this week with the aid of several concepts that we will be delivering in lectures and tutorials: sustainability, environmental equity, market externalities, and greenwashing.
