Mr. K.B. Is age 81 and has gastric with severe vomiting for 3 days. He has a history of heart problem and is presently feeling dizzy and lethargic. His eyes appear sunken, his mouth is dry, he walks on steadily and he complains of muscle aching particular in abdomen. He Is thirsty but unable to attain food or fluids. A neighborhoods board Mr. KB to the hospital where examination showed that is blood-pressure as low ans his pulse and respirations are rapid. Laboratory test demonstrates elevated hematocrit, hypernaturemia, decrease serum bicarbonate, serum pH 7.35, and urine of high specific (highly concentrated).
