Alot of Carhartts target market consists of blue collar workers that don't spend too much of their time on social media so the company uses outlts such as direct communications and TV to connect with those individuals. On the other hand, Carhartt also uses social media and online outlets to connect with th younger generation to attempt to connect to markets that they haven't fully tapped into yet. The picture linked witht this post is an example of how Carhartt uses social media such as Instagram to connect with their target market. The content and message of this is likely to be effective because it shows blue collar workers wearing Carhartt. The caption of the post "When you see a dirty Carhartt hoodie, consider it a job well done" is an effective message towards their target market as well. Describing that Carhartt apparel is durbale and is made specifically for blue collar workers. Advice I would give Carhartt for future communications would be to branch.
