At the centre of these modules are the three rhetorical appeals: logos, pathos, and ethos. Over the weeks to come, we will examine how each of these appeals operates in the articles we read. But before we start doing that kind of analysis, I want you to think of and an instance when you encountered at least one of the three rhetorical appeals first hand.
