Think of a small business you are interested in and/or are familiar with and answer the questions below. Based on your answers, provide a S.W.O.T. analysis.
You will do this by listing the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats facing the business. This can be in bullet form or presented in a chart. It is up to you.
I would like at least three (3) in each category.

Economic: How is the business impacted by an economic downturn? In what ways can the business cut costs? What type of supplier base is likely used? Does the business supply products or services complementary to other local businesses?
Social: To what types of customers does the business intend to sell? Can the products or services be marketed to everyone? What types of social factors in the community are especially conducive to the success of the business? What social factors work against the success of the business?
Competitive: Who are the competitors? Can the products and services be easily copied by competitors? Might the products and services be accepted in markets overseas? How many competitors does the business have? In what ways does the business or its product and service offerings stand out from what competitors are offering?
Technological: What types of technology does the business rely on? Is this technology rapid-changing or a slow-changing technology? Would a sudden change in technology push the business out of the marketplace? Might a competitor be able to capture the business's customers with a mere change in technology?
