Jillian is a 35 year old female who works for a hip, young, start-up company that develops iPhone apps for teenagers. She works with five co-workers who are all under the age of 22. One day, her boss calls her into his office and fires her because her ideas are no longer fresh and youthful. Jillian is convinced that she was fired because of her age since she is the only person over 22 in her office. Can she sue her start-up company for age discrimination? Why or why not?
