Question: I am being asked to consider a logical sequence of events that should be included in a 12-months timeline after a health initiative has been approved, for initiating the initiative/program. My question concerning this is as follows: Can I start looking to hire and train before a federal grant is approved? Is it quicker, in general, to get funding from a private charity than a federal fund? What can I start initiating in the timeline before the federal grant is approved and I receive money for the initiative? I guess i am confused because even if my budget plan is complete, how much can i actually do before knowing that I will receive funding?
