Background: Watch all four video clips thoroughly before answering the questions:
Only one external reference for each question is required not more than that. All answers must be thoroughly based on (4) videos that watched.
Question #1: [Word Length: 250 Words combined (a) and (b)]
a) Can an engineer who has become a manager truly ever take of her engineer's hat?
b) Should She?
Question #2: [Word Length: 250 Words combined (a) and (b)]
Answer each question thoroughly: Aboard the shuttle for this flight was the first teacher in space.
(a) Should civilians be allowed on what is basically an experimental launch vehicle? At the time, many felt that the placement of a teacher on the shuttle was for purely political purposes. President Reagan was widely seen as doing nothing while the American education system decayed. Cynics felt that the teacher-in-space idea was cooked up as a method of diverting attention from this problem and was to be seen as Reagan's dong something for education while he really wasn't doing anything.
(b) What are the ethical implications if this is true?
Question #3: [Word Length: 200 Words for section a]
Answer this question thoroughly: Engineering codes of ethics require engineers to protect the safety and health of the public in the course of their duties.
(a) Do the astronauts count as "public" in this context?
