A bullet of mass 15 gram is fired with an initial speed of 300 m/s into a wooden particle that is initially at rest. The bullet becomes lodged into the particle, and the two slide together on the floor for a distance of 1.5 meter before coming to rest. Of the coefficient of friction between the particle at floor is .40, calculate what is the mass of the particle?
