Design a power system for a facility, which requires both three phase and single phase supplies. Following conditions must be applied in the design:

1) The facility is at least 60 km far from a distribution substation.

2) The amount of three phase power to be delivered in kW is equal to the total number of letters in your name (first name +last name) and the single phase power is 10% of three phase power. Assume same power factor for both types of loads.

3) A stand by generator is also needed at the facility in the case of power failure

4) Start with the estimation of total kVA, identify the required voltage levels, calculate currents,

5) List the major equipment that you would need,

6) Draw the one line diagram

7) Model the equipment and calculate voltage/current at each stage to determine the ratings
