Calculate unemployment rate and labor force participation rate for both 2010 and 2020 given the following information: In 2010, there were 14,000 people employed, 1,000 people unemployed, and 1,200 people not in the labor force. In 2020, the following events occurred: 800 people who were looking were hired, 600 people were fired from theirjobs and onlilr half started looking for a new job, 200 people quit their jobs and did not look for new, 300 people who were not working decided to start looking, 550 people retired, and 200 people who were looking decided to stop looking clue to lack of success.
