In order to calculate the Total Shareholder Return for a specific period, one just have to adjust the stock price for any stock splits during this period. ? Do you agree?

I understand the general concept of the Total share return - the total amount of money that a shareholder would make from each individual stock. This amount takes into account both capital gains and dividends for a specified period of time.

But I am struggling with ensuring that I have the right answer. As the Total shareholder return takes into account both dividends and stock price.
