A 61-kg and a 97-kg skydiver jump from an airplane at an altitude of 6100 m, both falling headfirst. Assume that the area affected by drag force is 0.18 m2; and the drag coefficient is 0.7. The density of air is 1.2 kg/m3.

(a) Calculate their terminal velocities.

(b) How long will it take for each skydiver to reach the ground (assuming the time to reach terminal velocity is small)?
