A business records all transactions relating to the expense for wages during the financial year 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020. On 1 January 2020 there was an accrual of £900 in respect of wages. On 31 December 2020 there was a wages accrual of £1,100. During the year, £4,500 was paid in respect of wages.
