Solve the following questions given below:

Question 1: A 100.0 cm3 total volume of an oven-dry soil required 40.0 g of water to saturate it. Assume that the soil does not swell upon wetting Find its porosity.

Question 2: Assume that the soil in problem 1 is located in an which will be irrigated. You decide to saturate the soil to a depth of 25 cm.

Part I: Calculate the volume of water you have to appy per cm2 of soil surface assuming there is no residual water in the profile.

Part II: If the water were to be applied as a single application, what would be the depth of flooding?

Part III: Now assume that the soil has an initial columetric water content of 0.10. What would be the depth of water added to saturate the soil to a depth of 25 cm?

Please show all work and steps thank you!
