Calculate the volume in ml of the drug requred to be added to the bag. Calculate the flow rate in ml.h to be administered via the infusion pump(1 decimal point).

5. A patient is prescribed 30mg pethidine per hour to be delivered via a syringe pump. Stock strength is 50mg/ml. 500mg Pethidine has been diluted to a total volume of 50ml in infusion pum. What volume of saline in mls. need to be added to the syringe to reach total of 50ml. Calculate the vol. in ml/hr to be administered to obtain the prescribed dose per hour.

6. A patient is prescribed 90mg morphine and 5mg Haloperidol to be diluted with normal saline upto 16ml to be delivered via a syringe driven pump over 24hrs. Stock strength of morphine is 30mg/ml and stock strength of Haloperidol is 5mg/ml. Calculate the volume in ml of morphine required. Calculate the volume of Haloperidol requred. Calculate the volume in ml of dilutent required. Calculate the rate of infusion in ml/hr(2 decimal)
