Steam enters the adiabatic condenser (i.e.heat exchange) of a steam power plant at 20 kpa, 95 percent quality, and with a mass flow rate of 20,000kg/h. the steam is cooled by circulating water from a river through the tubes of the condenser. The river water enters the condenser at ambient temperature (25 degree). The river water temperature is not allowed to rise more than 5 degree to avoid thermal pollution. If the steam is to leave the condenser as saturated liquid at 20 kpa:

a: Calculate the volume flow rate of the steam at the condenser inlet.

B: calculate the rate of heat transfer from the steam to the river water.

C: calculate the mass flow rate of cooling water required in kg/s.
