Question: calculate the valuation of the LVMH company based on their PER and price to sales from 2018-2022. However, I really don't know where to start with the calculations and how to finish them. Therefore, any help on the calculation I can get would be helpful! A classmate gave me this advice, but it still does not really click for me:

1. find competitors.

2. calculate sales/share, EPS, PER, price-to-sales by using stock price, # outstand shares, sales and net income.

3. calculate average PER and Price-to-sale of competitors.

4. find the total equity value for the target company.

5. calculate estimated stock price

6. compare with actual stock price
